A Lush neighbourhood

Port Union, known as Centennial Scarborough too is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario.
Defined on the south by the railway and to the west by Colonel Danforth Park, by Kingston Road to the north and Port Union Road to the east.
West Centennial mostly has larger more developed properties, while East Centennial is a new area with more symetrical street designs, newer homes (circa mid 60s to late 70s) and with some newer buildups now in the North East pocket.
At the southern area of the neighbourhood is nesteled older Port Union with an bizarre historical essence and some of the finest stands of pine trees in the City of Toronto.
Centennial Plaza, situated on the north-west corner of Port Union Road and Lawrence Avenue, features a deli and bakery, a hardware store, a coffee shop and fast food restaurants. The Lawson Road Plaza is a small shopping plaza situated at the north end of this neighbourhood.
Adams Park, located just west of Port Union Road on Lawson Road, is a famous neighbourhood landmark for families. Colonel Danforth Park, occupying the western boundary of this neighbourhood, is a deep and heavily wooded ravine valley that is attractive for family picnics, bike rides, casual strolls and hikes.
The affluent neighbourhood has many grown-up trees, parkland and waterfront.
