Che's Place Youth Centre Invites You To "Pay It Forward"
“A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.”
Dear friends of Che’s Place:
In establishing Che’s Place Youth Centre, we came across a dear friend of the community for over 20 years, Tisho’s Music Academy. Tisho’s has generously equipped our music room with a variety of instruments while also donating a $3,000 music scholarship.
It’s become very clear how much youth visitors to Che's Place love the music room at Che’s Place, and how much it means to them. Imagine someone challenged by a disability that could never have access to the “magic of music”. …Imagine now changing all that by simply offering up your coffee money (for a day/a week/or even a month).
Your kind donation will benefit the MEAGHAN ZAREMBA MUSIC ROOM FOR DISABLED INDIVIDUALS (http://meaghansmusicroom.ca/). This organization accommodates over 55 young adults each month offering opportunities for those with disabilities (and no longer receiving government funding) to attend music classes in private, as a group, and through summer camps.
We’re looking to reach a goal of 1,000 donations @ $10 each now through March 31st. Help make a difference by participating. Remember, it’s “just coffee money.” Please visit Meaghan’s “gofundme” page: http://www.gofundme.com/fwrmcw , and invite all your friends and contacts to do the same.
…We know “the song is in your heart”.
