A "small town" glamour
Streetsville is an established community situated in the northwestern part of the city of Mississauga, Ontario. Occupies both the west and east banks of the Credit River, although the majority is on the west bank of the river.
Streetsville keep a "small town" charm and stands out of the big city. Several of main Mississauga roads, as they pass through, turn back their names to what they were called when the village was independent. Some are Mississauga Road and Bristol Road, which revert to Queen Street and Main Street respectively.
The Memorial Park committed to F.B. McFarren, located on lands which were previously owned by the McFarren family, is a natural amphitheater that contains 30 acres of land on the pristine Credit River.
A step into Streetsville attempts a unique chance to stroll through streetscapes that have lasted nearly unchanged for over a century.
