a lush neighbourhood
High Park is a lush neighbourhood of the west end of Toronto that borders on High Park, the largest park in Toronto. It extends from Dundas Street West in the north to the Queensway in the south and from Runnymede Road in the west to Roncesvalles Avenue in the east.
The High Park area is most famous for bordering on High Park however it is also a neighbourhood filled with beautiful houses, peaceful rolling streets and many, large Oak trees. It is also the home of Humberside Collegiate Institute, a well-respected Toronto public high that also offers French Immersion.
Over the past few decades, High Park has become a very desirable place for young couples to raise a family. It has also become a very popular area among young people and couples without families mainly due to its close proximity to both Roncesvalles and Parkdale as well as to the many affordable rental properties available in the area.
