Cathy Barry - age 51 of Bowmanville Ontario, recently competed for the 1st time at the UFE World Championships - Natural Bodybuilding on Saturday November 12th held in Toronto. Cathy completed in the Elite Division and won in all Categories: 1st Open Bikini 1st Masters (Over 40) Bikini 1st Open Glamour 2nd Masters (Over 40) Fitness 2nd Open Fitness She received her Pro-Status in 4 Divisions and then competed again in the PRO-World Championships that evening in 6 categories. I won a Silver Medal in Masters (Over 40) Glamour Bronze in Open Glamour Bronze in Masters (Over 40) Bikini A total of 8 medals in one day!!!! Where: The Marriott International - Downtown Toronto - Competitors from all over the world were present - USA, Australia, Italy, England, Canada. When: Saturday November 12th, 2022 Why: I had never done a World Championship before, especially as a Pro. The competitors are talented and fierce and amazing and it was an honour to be able to stand on the stage with an amazing group of people. To top it all off, her Coach: Steve Oldfield - Steve's Fitness Circus in Bowmanville sent her this message: "I have been running athletes in shows for 19 years now. Probably 60 Pro Cards, countless first place finishes and overall wins. Had several people win multiple classes in the same show. I have never had the pleasure of a team member dominating a show like yesterday. I am more proud of you more than I can write so let me just leave it at this. You slayed it, what a performance!! What 12 , 14 times on stage in the same day and you held up, got better all day and above all held class. Nice work, you may never have a night like that again, I am glad I could witness it, and play maybe a small part. Well done." What's next for Cathy: UFE World Champion 2023!!!!
