A Mix of Cultures
Thistletown is a very multicultural neighbourhood in Etobicoke, Toronto and it is also considered to be a part of the Rexdale community. Thistletown borders on the Humber River and it extends west from the Humber River until Kipling Avenue.
Thistletown is community set into the gorgeous Humber River Valley area. It is a community made up of a mix of cultures and it is home to many East Indian, Caribbean, Sri Lankan, and Pakistani stores. It is also home to the Franklin Carmichael Art Centre, Anga's Farm and Village Green. The Thistletown Fair is also held here annually in June at which there is a flea market, a baking contest, rides, music and all kinds of family entertainment.
